In Praise of the Smaller Life

"In Praise of the Smaller Life" is a personal essay written for the EngAGE blog. EngAGE is a non-profit that puts arts, wellness, lifelong learning, and community-building programming in low-income, independent-living apartment communities, primarily for older adults. I manage the websites and social media for the organization. In the summer of 2021, several staff members wrote personal essays for the blog which is read not only by residents of our communities, but also by funders, developers, other professionals in the aging services area, and by the public.
