Item description
A painting of a sunset on a yellow, orange, and red background with two, small white clouds below it. The sun is in the top right corner, in a gradient orange and yellow, the lightest yellow portion surrounding it. The painting is split in half horizontally so below the sunset is a dark, gradient blue sky with the lightest portion at the split and the moon in the lower left corner. Surrounding the moon are white specks, almost like stars.

I was bored and we had paint at home so I started painting in a paper notebook. My best friend from high school was also super artsy and I wanted to be able to relate to her and show her what I was capable of so that we could paint together once we could (once covid would be over).
The sunset and night sky painting was done when I was trying to learn how to blend colors together. It also reminded me a lot of the summer nights I spent in my hammock in May when I should have been in high school but couldn't go because COVID cancelled school.
