Restoring any quality-made item for continued use is often a good enough reason for me. For these items, the family connection made the project even more fulfilling; A home workshop gives you space to fix existing problems and create new things. Having the pandemic’s gift of time in isolation allowed me to complete several ideas I had been thinking about for several years.
