Strength Through Female War Survivors' Stories 2
Julie Marino
During the pandemic I was diagnosed with breast cancer. While undergoing treatment and dealing with sheltering in home, I turned to reading. I read books about WW II specifically females who survived the holocaust or were heroic spies in the war. Their stories inspired me and gave me strength. One of my favorite quotes is from a woman who lived during the holocaust "with perseverance, faith and hope, one can overcome almost anything."
