We Have To Fight For Change

Zed Omri

the large A1 red and blue painting with the lettering 'we have to fight for change' along with the scribbly portraits over lots of scribbled lettering were based on a feeling of anger and wanting to fight and protest as a young person during the pandemic when we were constantly inundated with bad news. most notably this was very shortly after the murder of George Floyd, so the BLM riots during the pandemic was very informative for this work. I wanted to express my own feelings of stress, anger, anxiety and frustration about the political landscape during the pandemic. I wanted others to know they weren't alone. I wanted to shout about what we needed to change.
