Healthcare is Human 4
I am uploading episodes of the podcast I created during the pandemic. The series is called Healthcare is Human and I started it as my way to chronicle the brave workers around me. Telling these stories and recording them for history is very important to me. I had a front-row seat to the pandemic as a primary care doctor and I started interviewing my fellow workers in summer 2020. I paired with photographer Molly Humphreys to take photos of these workers. Together, we create an audio and video record of out local pandemic response in West Virginia. To date, we have the audio for twenty podcast episodes (I selected a few to add here) and Molly has taken over 500 photos.
