WAITING FOR GOLDEN TIME
40x72x5 inches. 2021. Pink foam, fabric, spray paint, acrylic pen, battery powered pendulum. Covid-19 crisis caused me job-loss, cancellation of my home visit to India and delayed my visa transfer by 24 months. All these coupled with losses of professional opportunities and restrictions forced me to contemplate on my optimistic nature. Hence this work that shows a bruised bust with a pendulum representing heart beat, golden hand painted fishes on black background shows light and hope that kept me going through one of the darkest and most uncertain times in the history of humanity.
