Seedlings
With no travel in sight, it was easy to plan for the garden and raise my own seedlings for everything we wanted. I raised about 36 tomato plants from seeds I had saved the year before. Most of the plants I shared with neighbors but for two years now, my garden and been lush with heirloom tomatoes that grace every meal during the season. Eating from the garden harked back to how my grandparents and more distant relatives had lived. Eating this way felt...eternal.
