I wanted to share my joy with my family during a difficult time. My walks showed me that joy is often found in the small details that you might miss during an otherwise busy day-the fog in the cemetery, the steam rising off of a fence post, patterns of the clouds.
I found that sharing my photos with my family made them feel closer and I hope that it made me feel closer to them.
