Item description
A photograph of a woman wearing a hand-knitted sweater with her back turned to the camera. She is white, with short blonde hair, pictured from the hips up, holding the hem of her sweater with her hands on her hips. The sweater is detailed with short strips of different shades of blue mixed together in the center, with a more detailed pattern of green and pink lines across the shoulders and a green pattern shaped a bit like hearts along the bottom hem.

Colorwork sweater 2
Heidi Butler
This is my first significant colorwork hand knit sweater. It is not a great example of technical accuracy, but it represents both self care (making a cozy thing for myself) and experimentation ( I had no plan for the color arrangements and made them up on the fly). The yarn is from a Michigan dyer, Briar Rose Fibers, and the pattern is called Manou.
