Challah in Quarantine 1

Rachel Marino

During the early party of quarantine, I started getting interested in baking and specifically bread-making. These photos document my first attempt at making my own bread. I chose to make challah as I love the braided pattern and the soft, buttery taste. In these photos I wanted to highlight the process from raw dough to final product. The whole process took at least 4 hours, from creating the dough to proofing to braiding to baking to egg-washing at the end. The results were very delicious!
