A photograph of a dark brown painted ladder. The ladder is laying on top of plastic as the dark brown paint dries. There are paint smears on the plastic as well as patchiness of the paint on the ladder. The natural color of the ladder is auburn in color and shows through the dark brown paint. A light reflects on the ladder and plastic.

I created this work because I returned to the office/lab (I am a Post-doc in Biomedical engineering) permanently, and I wanted the cats to have a way to let themselves in and out of the house. When I was working from home, my second job was cat doorman.
