The top of the road comes from a cityscape stemming in the top left corner of the painting and ends in the lower right corner behind a small red house. Two people are stopped on the side of the road in the lower left corner to drink and in the upper right three people are sitting, praying in traditional Indian clothing with headpieces and large earrings. They are facing the water which runs in front of the city and bridge along the back of the painting.

Brave Cycle Girl

We all know how Corona caused havoc all over the world. Our life was confined inside the four walls of the house. Seeing the holocaust of Corona in my country as well as in the whole world, my mind used to get distracted. Seeing the surrounding environment started having some negative and some positive effects on my mind. In such a situation, I could not muster the courage to show the negative effect in my artwork because I am an emotional person.

But through my art, I tried to convey the positive effect to all the people of the country. Taking the help of my art, I concentrated my mind. In the time of this holocaust, I taught mithila art through online classes, to many kids and women so that I could transfer some positive thoughts into their minds and I also prepared three artworks which were based on Corona.

The second painting was the true story of a courageous daughter who carried her ailing father from the capital of the country, Delhi to her native place Darbhanga (Bihar State) on a cycle. She traveled A distance of 1200 kms by cycle. It was not so easy to decide, but I salute the courage of that daughter, she is an inspiration for all of us today.
