Sunset

In the midst of social injustice, the pandemic, and the war, I wanted to paint something that would bring peace, beauty, and calm to people. A "mini-escape" from the day-to-day challenges.

My Creative Experience

A photograph of 8 watercolor paintings. 6 of the paintings are done on brown paper lunch bags; 5 of the paintings are of different colored flowers, and one is of a green snake. The other 2 paintings are done on scraps of white paper; one is a red circle surrounded by lines with the word “wow” below it, and the other is of a blue flower.

My Gaze
