Description

An abstract piece with different colored squares of paper glued on to create three rows of three. The top row is orange, yellow, and light green; the middle row has pink and green framing the center square; and the bottom row is a dark magenta, blue, and dark green. The center square in the middle row is the largest square with a white background, different colors layered on top of it in a floral-like pattern. There are two skulls within it, both with orange flowers for eyes; the left skull wears a top hat and the right skull red flowers on its head. Above the skull is slightly cursive pencil writing that reads “Congratulations!” and underneath that “Rebecca + Tim”. Surrounding the piece is red tissue paper.

My Creative Experience

A photograph of 8 watercolor paintings. 6 of the paintings are done on brown paper lunch bags; 5 of the paintings are of different colored flowers, and one is of a green snake. The other 2 paintings are done on scraps of white paper; one is a red circle surrounded by lines with the word “wow” below it, and the other is of a blue flower.

My Gaze
