Jabberwocky 2020: Confronting the Beast

A photograph of a rug with the saying “We thought growing old would take longer” in blue. Surrounding the saying are flowers and foliage mirrored on the left and right. The rug itself has a blue whip stitch border. On the top and the bottom of the piece there are small sections running across the length of the run. These sections have short and wide stripes in earthy tones that are used in the rest of the piece.
