Item description
A watercolor painting of a large sun rising or setting. The sun is on the right half of the page and painted in hues of orange, with watercolor runoff creating a halo-like haze around it. The rest of the white page is left blank, except for a brown block structure and black lines that resemble tall grass in the lower left corner. In the lower right corner are the words, “Singing to the Sun” written in thin cursive letters.

As a painter, I have always been interested in the IDEA rather than a realistic image of what I present. I have always been in awe of the beauty of nature. Through the internet, I learned that there were virtual watercolor exhibits throughout the world. Subsequently , I have been invited to exhibit in Aqueous International 2020 (People's Choice Award) (Voices Before the Storm) and 2021 (Avian Echoes) and in a National exhibit in Prairie Village, KS (Traveling Voices).
Most recently, Sep.12021-January 10, 2022. I had an onsite exhibit of 12 Birdsong paintings at The Hyeholde, Pittsburgh, PA.
