Item description
A ring made from welded silver and different gemstones pictured on a black background. The majority of the silver has been water-casted, creating organic shapes that resemble forms found in nature. These pieces of silver surround brown and clear colored gems and are wrapped around them or in small droplets throughout the ring.

My jewelry begins with water-casting, which involves dropping molten silver into water. This process, completely random, often duplicates shapes and forms found in nature.
These water-cast components are then micro-welded into larger configurations, allowing me to retain the desired level of detail, unobtainable with soldering or casting. Finally, traditional and non-traditional metalsmithing techniques create organic, one-of-a-kind objects.
