Item description
A ring made from welded silver with a white gemstone pictured on a black background. The majority of the silver has been water-casted, creating organic shapes that resemble protrusions found in nature. These pieces of silver surround the gemstone and the rest of the ring in small droplets and longer protrusions.

My jewelry begins with water-casting, which involves dropping molten silver into water. This process, completely random, often duplicates shapes and forms found in nature.
These water-cast components are then micro-welded into larger configurations, allowing me to retain the desired level of detail, unobtainable with soldering or casting. Finally, traditional and non-traditional metalsmithing techniques create organic, one-of-a-kind objects.
