On the right side of the bowl are smaller orange and yellow strips of glass with thin, long black strips overlapping them. Down the center of the bowl are amber drips and waved lines of glass. The word “honey” is written with this amber glass across the bottom of the dish.

Honey Dish
The Jewish New Year which is celebrated at Rosh Hashanah is in the Fall. A honey bowl is placed on the table and those who are present can dip their challah bread into the bowl. The wish is for a sweet year. The bowl attempts to show the stunning effect of amber honey dripping down.
