A square, abstract, fused glass dish inset with a deeper square in the center. The background of the dish is white, mostly covered by strips of waved orange glass. In some of the gaps and overlapping the orange are dots of black glass. In the center of the dish is a white form with a white circle above it, resembling a desert mountain.

At this time in history, so many people are existing on what appears to be an emotional desert. They are mourning the loss of friends and families who have died from Covid-19 as well as the dangers that society is forced to deal with. Once again, the piece is metaphorical and also connects the conceptual dots. After all glass is made of sand.
