At the back of the stage is a screen: the top left corner displays a picture of a moon with a second moon to the right of it, both moons shrouded in fog; the center of the screen is a black color that fades into blue at the bottom, the screen and lighting paints the rest of the stage in a textured blue shadow. Suspended from the ceiling to the right are the doors and windows of a house, dangling within the air. Beneath the door frames is a wooden platform with a step, a woman in a blue dress perches on the platform with her hands resting on her knees. Behind her is a yellow armchair, a small wooden side table with a lantern placed next to it. To the raised right side of the platform is a bed and a dresser. Wooden frames decorate the platform, as if the original place of the doors and windows. The walls surrounding the stage are filled with images of documents, and two flags, one the American flag and the other the US Department of State flag. In the center of the stage beneath the steps is a small podium; a man wearing a gray suit jacket, white button down, and gray tie stands behind it and talks into the skinny microphone, as if giving a speech. Chairs reside on each side of the steps, though the people that once resided in them stand at the top of the crescent shaped platform. Decorating the platform are people of different races standing in various positions, the majority of them wearing matching suits. Additional onlookers remain closer to the edge of the stage; two on each side, one sat in a chair while the other stands. In the middle, a person records the scene.

The walls of the ornate, dimly-lit house are filled with windows and doors.   • A theater set onstage depicting an elegant, almost vampiric interior. At the center of the scene is a dinner table upon a small platform, a yellow curtain suspended behind the table, pulled up on either side to act as a doorway or to frame the table. Similar curtained doorways are found on the far left and far right of the stage. A balcony covers the top part of the stage, with spiraling staircases on either side of the center curtain leading up to the space. On top of each staircase railing is a mask with a monstrous face. The gothic-like detailing of the balcony railing and design is enhanced by the dark red wallpaper and lighting that shroud the background of the stage. Two light fixtures with three dark orange lights hang from the ceiling from the far left and far right side of the stage.
