Painting a day Challenge various paintings 6

I am primarily an oil painter and enjoy plein air painting. I've painted in various places in the U.S. Since so many plein air events were canceled and we couldn't travel, a few of us plein air painters decided to do a painting a day challenge. I painted 67 days in a row and a few other artists went even longer. I did mostly 5x7 oil paintings and will provide a small selection of the better paintings. Six of the paintings are of family members. The Self Portrait was from a photo of myself which I took when the winter light was coming thru the bedroom window. Paintings of Danny and Kathy are my sister and brother-in-law. He was going thru Hodgkins lymphoma treatment . Waiting outside the Gallery is a from a photo of my mom during a trip we took with another sister. My mom had passed a few years ago and I had already done two portraits of her and wanted something different. Marge's Mom was done simply because she had such an interesting face and impish look. Doing paintings of family and posting on social media gave us an opportunity to reach out even tho we couldn't meet in person. Picking Strawberries was just something I wanted to paint. Same for Bend in the Road and Almost Spring. All from photos taken previously to Covid. Lastly, Red Pitcher and Doily is part of a series of still life's I set up in my studio so that I had something to paint if not from my photos.
