Item description
A four-panel digitally drawn comic from the webcomic Junicorn. The title Junicorn goes vertically down the left side. Below it is the caption “By Jude Nevermind, co-written by Junicorn Algebra” and next to it, the caption “Conversations with my kid, an incredible person who also happens to have Autism and Albinism.” Panel 1: Junicorn, a white unicorn, lies in bed covered by a yellow blanket. Her dad, a brown bull, is tucking her in. There is a black and white dog next to the bed. Her dad says “Good night!” as Junicorn says “My burrito, please.” At the foot of the bed is the caption “Juniper is finally sleeping in her own bed!” Panel 2: Junicorn’s dad wraps the blanket around her. She says “I want to go cold turkey on bad dreams.” Panel 3: Junicorn’s dad has wrapped her up like a burrito. He asks “Too tight?” and she replies “It’s good. I am ready for my guard dog now.” Panel 4: Junicorn’s dad picks the dog up and puts it on the bed at Junicorn’s feet, saying “Good night!”. Junicorn asks “Will you sing me another lullaby? Sometimes my body knows how to defeat lullabies.” At the foot of the bed is the caption “Unfortunately her bedtime routine takes most of the night…”
