Item description
A photograph of a mural done on the side of a building. The mural is of a forest scene done in an abstract, geometric style. In the center of the mural is a sun with rays going outwards to the edge of the piece. The bottom of the sun is covered by a green hill, on this hill is a black dog, facing forward with its tongue out. To the left of the sun and dog is a large bird with it’s wings spread, flying towards the center of the piece. On the right of the sun and dog is a small, blue squirrel, holding an acorn in its hand and looking at the camera. Spaced throughout the piece are brown trees, on one of the trees, above the squirrel, is a red cardinal facing to the right.

I also worked on a mural for the city of Madison Heights during the times of Covid. It was an abstract painting on a park shelter building. The focus of the mural is the animals that frequent the city park: fox, deer, hawks, birds, racoons, skunks, opossums, squirrels.
