Fall at the Lake
Wanda Tyner
Wanda’s nature-inspired glass art depicts a story that flows from realistic representations to abstract interpretations with 3D elements that add depth and reflections. Wanda manipulates and forms glass into shapes with heat, flow, dimension, patterns and texture bringing vibrant colors to life.
Glass sculpture of fall trees along the bank of the lake, inspired while kayaking. The background is 2 layers of glass of different colors fused together. Glass elements are added in multiple firings to make the trees, rocks and leaves.
The glass stand is kilnformed into a shape to support the sculpture with coldworking to ensure the bottom is level and sturdy.
