Cinderella

Jack and the Beanstalk
A block from a quilt, depicting the fairy tale “Jack and The Giant Beanstalk”.The block has a dark blue with dots of lighter blues scattered across the fabric background. To the left of the block is a winding dark green satin ribbon resembling a beanstalk, reaching to the top of the block. Attached on both sides of the ribbon are cutouts of light green and white floral fabric made to resemble beans. Once upon a Disability
A quilt depicting an intricate story, hanging up on a white wall. The quilt is made up of various patterned fabrics, mostly different types of floral prints. It is divided into four story blocks. At the top of the quilt is a white strip of fabric with black text: “Once upon a time people with disabilities faced obstacles.” Underneath the text are two story blocks, the one to the top left inspired by the fairytale “Jack and The Magic Beanstalk”, and the top right inspired by “Cinderella”. Underneath the two blocks is text on a white strip of fabric that reads: “Once upon a time is now”.View item -
