Kenneth Hunter

The slow process of thinking through my next step and waiting at least a day before making another helped the days come together with purpose and progress. Everyday I was able to make something new and wasn't limited to the past. It gave me time and space to reflect on and work through the feelings of loss and loneliness.

The pandemic experience only made the feelings of loss and loneliness develop quicker and deeper but also provided the space to lean into the loss and work through it thoroughly without the opportunity for distraction to take it's place. If it wasn't for the space provided by the pandemic, I don't think I would have been able to process grief as well as I did.
