An abstract painting inspired by the city of San Antonio. Shades of cool blue and green circle around the piece, mixed with vibrant oranges and yellows, tracing curves and shapes that resemble buildings, street maps, and urban sprawl. Hidden within is a bicycle and an orange two-story building with a domed roof.

The Vibrant Village 7
This is a series of works I was commissioned by the City of San Antonio during the Covid pandemic. It started right when the pandemic started and luckily was able to proceed because some funding projects were cut during that time. This is a series of paintings on wood panels measuring 4’x6’ and are now hanging in the city tower which houses all the public departments of the city. I incorporated collage and acrylic paint to create an abstract work that intuitively captures the works of a city like worker bees.
