Painted oyster shells resting on a white surface, a hand holds one of them up for a better view. Inside each shell is a painted beach scene. In the paintings, a seagull stands next to tall, green grass on a sandy beach. Water laps up onto the shore, and the rest of the water is a dark blue. At the top of the shells, seagulls fly through a cloudy sky.

Calm in the Storm 7
Many if the artworks are pyography (wood burning). Ocean themeds calm me & the smell of the smoke grounds me. I like to wood burn different types of objects. I also enjoyed painting on shoes- shoe art! Why not brighten others day as your shoes are seen even when masks are on, I use acrylics w a clear sealants spray on canvas shoes.
