I have a great need to create beautiful things. Color speaks to my soul. Being able to share my process, journey, and results with my social media friends was a nice connection that I was missing out on due to the confinement.

The pandemic experience only made the feelings of loss and loneliness develop quicker and deeper but also provided the space to lean into the loss and work through it thoroughly without the opportunity for distraction to take it's place. If it wasn't for the space provided by the pandemic, I don't think I would have been able to process grief as well as I did.
