Item description
A vibrant acrylic painting on canvas of layered shapes and paint strokes. Horizontal lines pattern the background of the canvas, in repeated rows of brown, yellow, and red. This pattern has been covered with a thin coat of white paint, so it is very faint. Over this, gray rectangles of various sizes are arranged to create uneven blocky structures. Many small bright red worm-like shapes wriggle around the blocks. Some are climbing up, some are sliding down the sides, but most are perched at the top, reaching toward the upper edge of the canvas that is covered in bright green paint strokes that resemble an aurora borealis.

All these pieces are described under the image. they are all paintings that were done and inspired by Lisboa. I had fled here to escape the disregard in the USA for safety measures to protect me from COVID.
The outdoor ambience and beauty of Lisboa inspired me to create back in my studio.
These paintings allowed me to search for meaning during the Pandemic and keep my sanity during lockdown.
